Colorbond Steel

Genuine BlueScope corrugated Colorbond steel walls — 22 colours, built for year-round outdoor use in the Australian climate. At 875mm, the corrugated steel panels make a bold visual statement — clean lines, strong colour, zero maintenance. The same material used on Australian roofs for over 25 years.

 

Pine frame

Three frame options:

• Raw pine — natural bare timber, no treatment or finish. Ready to paint or stain yourself.

• ACQ treated pine — built for year-round outdoor use. ACQ treatment soaks deep into the timber fibres — lasting protection against Melbourne's wet winters and summer heat.

• Painted pine — 2 full coats applied by hand for a polished, finished result.

 

Construction

Hot-dipped galvanised shank nails throughout — the outdoor timber industry standard. They flex with natural timber movement, keeping the structure solid season after season. Hand-built at our Cranbourne, Melbourne workshop by our experienced carpentry team.

• Bottomless — sits directly on the ground, roots grow freely into native soil below with no depth restriction. Preferred for vegetable growers.

• With base board — internal timber base board with black PVC liner. 425mm internal soil depth. Suitable for decks, pavers and hard surfaces.

• Corrugated Colorbond steel walls require no wall lining — completely weatherproof, no soil deterioration

• For maximum drainage with the base board option, lift or trim the liner along the base edges

• 875mm height keeps roots well above ground-level waterlogging and pests

Bottomless — unrestricted root depth, at stand-up height

• Deep-rooting vegetables at bench height: tomatoes, capsicum, eggplant, cucumber, beans, peas

• Root vegetables reaching deep into ground soil: parsnips, long carrots, beetroot

• Established perennials and productive kitchen garden staples — all within arm's reach

 

With base board — 425mm soil depth

All Painted pine frames receive 2 full coats applied by hand — deeper colour, stronger protection, lasting finish. Applied using Intergrain, Cabot's and Sikkens.

 

Stained & oiled — UV and weather protection, brings out the natural timber grain:
