Colorbond Steel

Genuine BlueScope corrugated Colorbond steel walls — 22 colours, the same steel used on Australian roofs and fences for over 25 years. Colour-stable and engineered for outdoor durability in the Australian climate. The corrugated wall profile is strong, clean and inherently weatherproof — no lining required, no rust, no maintenance.

 

Pine frame

Three frame options:

• Raw pine — natural bare timber, no treatment or finish. Ready to paint or stain yourself.

• ACQ treated pine — engineered for outdoor durability. The ACQ treatment penetrates deep into the timber fibres, delivering long-lasting protection against Melbourne's wet winters and summer heat.

• Painted pine — 2 full coats applied by hand for a finished look from day one.

 

Construction

Assembled with hot-dipped galvanised shank nails — the industry standard for outdoor timber. They flex with the timber's natural movement, keeping the build solid over time. Hand-built at our Cranbourne workshop by our experienced carpentry team.

• Bottomless — sits directly on the ground, roots grow freely into native soil with no depth restriction

• With base board — internal timber base board with black PVC liner keeps moisture off the timber base. 425mm internal soil depth.

• Corrugated Colorbond steel walls need no lining — the steel is completely weatherproof and soil contact causes zero deterioration

• Want extra drainage with the base board? Lift or trim the liner along the base edges to encourage drainage

• Bottomless option preferred for serious vegetable growers — unrestricted root depth, natural drainage

• Root vegetables: carrots, beetroot, parsnips, turnips — unrestricted depth is ideal

• Raw pine — natural bare timber, no finish applied. Ready to paint or stain yourself.

• ACQ treated pine — natural bare treated timber. Ready to finish yourself, or leave natural.

 

Every finished option leaves our Cranbourne workshop with 2 full coats applied by hand — for deeper colour, stronger protection and a professional result that holds up outdoors. We use Intergrain, Cabot's and Sikkens.

 

Stained & oiled — UV-stable, weather-resistant, enhances the natural timber grain:

Lockable castors (with base board only)

• Heavy-duty lockable castors — lock in place for stability, unlock to reposition
